The app sucks!!!. Customer support for Wendy's and the app sucks!!.

Horrible user interface, auto reload doesnt work

UPDATE A YEAR LATER: This app went from "barely tolerable" to "junk" status. Wendys! Are you listening?? Just implement Apple Pay and you dont need an app. ----- Ridiculously bad execution of common sense user experience, like navigating between fields, etc. misaligned images, etc Doesnt remember my credit card info, I have to type in my address and everything else each time I reload. Makes me not want to reload. Oh, and auto reload is broken, you set it up, but it will never actually reload.

Horrible app

Crashes; keeps saying I have to update my security information but no way to do it. Keeps saying it cannot locate me even tho ALL permissions and location services are turned on. No way to get information in the 4 for $4 choices. No coupons. Just a lousy app.

Horrible-- Do not put money in this app. Fail!!!

Ive attempted 6 different times, and it doesnt work. At 4 different locations we tried to use the app as payment, and failed 100% of the time. Employees do not know what this app is, Wendys employees seem to lack appropriate training. When Ive used this app, it wont process the transaction at the register, although there are funds within the account on the app. Do not bother to use until Wendys decides to fix it. Horrible experience!!!

App Developer Very Concerned

I really cant comprehend how a multibillion dollar company can be worse at creating apps than broke students with no time. I tried to order some food using the app here in the union at U of I. 1. I started off having to wait in line just to ask the employee which app was the right one and he told me the wrong one. 2. When I downloaded the correct app, I realized that nothing made sense according to usability rules. Rule of least surprise and modelessness are a fail. I was surprised that the location had no order option. It only had directions and phone numbers. When I went to the menu, there were things that were not offered at this location. 3. Most importantly, the rule of reality failed. It is obvious to me that no one properly tested the app. This is not due to what the employees said but due to the reviews. I never figured out how to order my food. Instead, I spent 10 minutes just giving Wendys advice they shouldnt need. No one should have to tell you executives that you make yourself look like incompetent fools by releasing and encouraging the use of an app that does not work. I will be encouraging my friends to definitely not bother with your services. I finally realized that the restaurant I loved growing up is no longer grown up enough for my taste.

Waste of time and data to download app. The app allows you to find a store and pay via app, nothing more.

Pull this app or improve it

This app really doesnt serve much purpose. I hate the mobile payment system and their auto reload has been broken for weeks now. Apparently Wendys CEO isnt smart enough to see the benefits of apple pay. Dont waste your time. Wendys has totally missed he mark with the archaic way they process mobile payments.

I dont understand

Why would you send customers an email and tell them to download your app when it doesnt work? Now smaller companies, businesses, and small mom-and-pop restaurants with A much more extensive menu nailed their app on the first try and to the consumer appeared flawless. If there were problems with there apps the consumer never knew about it because they received the product they ordered on an app a company released that worked because they would never release an app that represents their outstanding business to the public unless it worked. Please explain whats going on so friends and family in a small town doesnt have to avoid your restaurant for a year or so. Thank you very much!! Also heres an idea to get back in the publics favor hand out free Frostys for a day

This app is not even useable Im not sure why Wendys would promote something so horrendously made!!!

Useless app

McDonalds get free burger and coupons for bogo burhers

It works but....

The app works when paying the bill. But the app lacks continuity. Options opened from the apps menu have conflicting info. This app demonstrates the lazy way of app building. It does self-contain info from their website, it opens Safari to take you a web page. And it needs optimization for the larger iPhone screen sizes, that is, iPhone 6 (et al.).

Very poor payment experience

I dont care for the idea of loading money onto the app, then paying with that. But its not too bad. The trouble is the awkward way you pay. You open the app, and slide to "pay". But that just produces a code, which the befuddled cashier struggles to figure out what to do with. Eventually it gets sorted out, but simply using a credit card is a world easier.

Coupons

Get with the times. We all want coupons to Wendys. App is useless if theres no perks. Duh!

LAME

This app is horrible. My 2 year old daughter could write a better one. Coupons? Food for thought. This thing definitely needs revamped. There are plenty of choices on where to eat. Until they get it together, I wont be going there!

Wendys needs training for the app

Every Wendys Ive gone to I need to teach them how to use the app. Personally, its horrible management on an otherwise fantastic fast food restaurant.

Jack has always treated me well

Usually I am pretty satisfied with Jack in the Box but this time, Carmen has really let me down. When I pulled up, I was greeted with a manager that just stared at me through the glass and shook his head. When I pulled out this nifty app, he got very angry and threatened to throw it on the grill after a heated argument. Finally the grill cook stepped in and completed the transaction. Not the greatest experience Ive ever had... Next time I will just stop at In-N-Out.

Not Intuitive, clunky

It dont know why this app makes paying for Wendys more complicated. You have to add a credit card, then add funds, then make sure you have enough funds to use your 6 digit code, then hope the cashier knows how to use the code, then finish your purchase. It makes way more sense to just use Apple Pay. At least offer coupons like the McDonalds app.

Big thumbs Down

There is no way in hell I am going to put my money in a account that does not have the protection of my credit cards if your servers are breached and the hacker gets into these money stashes and cleans them out......sorry is not going to work.
